Monogram Necklace

Monograms are motifs made by combining or overlapping two or more letters in order to form a singular symbol. There are several different Fonts that can be used such as Traditional Monogram which the Last Name Initial is slightly bigger than the initials on the left and right or Circle Monogram which the letters all curve and form a circle.

Monograms were first used on coins in days as early as 350BC. In more modern days and contemporary settings, monograms are still being used on pieces of art, like monogram necklaces.  A monogram necklace is a work of art because a lot goes into the design and construction of a piece.

Monogram necklaces are made from different materials, although most will be made out of metals like silver and gold. In the last few years, the increasingly popular choice of material for these pendants are wood..
The Initials Shop has many choices for wood monogram jewelry whether it is carved from cheery wood or walnut. Also, a more intricate piece has silver over wood which is more durable.   You can go online and see which material you like to wear and fits your personality at their online store.  Whichever you choose, a monogram necklace truly is a work of art tailored just for you!
